Today I led my first assembly - which was quite scary! The most nerve racking thing was still not knowing everyone's name! We looked at the 12 Days of Christmas - what each "day" meant in terms of the bible and Christianity. We looked briefly at what each class would do to contribute to our Christmas Tree, before singing the 12 Days of Christmas.
My second assembly was a little less nerve racking. The JRSO's were meant to be talking a bout their competitions, but the finished really early so I had to stall for time! We sang two songs, then did a prayer, which I asked the children to contribute to. Even then we went out dead on time!
